TROX (SA)(Pty) Ltd. at the Pietermaritzburg manufacturing facility has implemented a Quality Management System to ISO 9001 : 2000 through UL International.
The Quality Management System is documented in a Quality Assurance Manual that is supported by System Procedures, Work Instructions, Specification Sheets and Attachments.
These documents are available for review at our works in Pietermaritzburg. Copies are provided as and when appropriate to tender or contract requirements.
Quality Plans are provided when contractually required, together with any other agreed quality assurance requirements.
The TROX Quality Management System is subject to Customer assessment, audit, surveillance and inspection activities, as appropriate to the scope of supply, and as contractually or otherwise agreed.
Customers such as Lurgi Howden SA, Delkor Technik, Defy/Tek Manufacturers, have audited or assessed the TROX Quality Management System with acceptable results. The SABS also conduct quarterly audits to check compliance of our Fire Dampers, which bear the SABS mark in accordance with SABS193-1972. BS and DIN standards also apply to various products manufactured at TROX Pietermaritzburg – refer to our Klima 1 and Klima 2 catalogues.
Internal Audits are continually carried out to ensure the TROX Quality Management System is maintained, suitable and effective by a trained team of Internal Auditors.
