Bank of Mauritius in the area of Port Louis – Mauritius, is the new Head Office for the Mauritian Banking centre.

Construction included the erecting of the New Tower Block next to the existing building, and refurbishment of the existing establishment, which all had to be resistant to the seasonal hurricanes which occur in this region.

TROX in conjunction with Grinaker LTA Facades and ARUP Façade Engineering created a hurricane resistant louvre which was deigned to withstand wind pressures of +5.6kPa & -5.9kPa.  The louvre construction surpassed the Dade County Test requirment for Small & Large missile impact.

TROX South Africa supplied all substantial climatic and air conditioning components, from air grilles, swirl and ceiling diffusers, fire dampers, silencers and Air Handling Units, to high-quality Hurricane louvers.
